Twizzle Tots!
Children will be introduced to the
principles of Ballet and Creative Dance in a fun, informal and
imaginative environment. These sessions are aimed
specifically at children aged 2 - 4 years and will give them
the chance to learn how to use their bodies whilst moving.
Parents/Carers will have the opportunity to participate in
sessions and to actively encourage their children to learn and
develop through movement.
Rushmoor Dance Companies
Rushmoor Infant, Junior and Youth
Dance companies aim to provide members with wide and varied
dance experiences.
Each week dancers will work on a
specific type/style of dance and learn to explore and create
their own steps along side those choroegraphed by our
teachers.
Once a dance has been formed and rehearsed
the groups will have the opportunity to perform at various
local and county wide events.
These sessions are
funded partially by the North East Hampshire School Sport
Partnership through the Big Lottery Fund.
Creative / Contemporary Dance
Allows individuals to learn a new
dance form and create their own unique movements all in the
same session!
Creative / Contemporary dance gives a
hightened sense of body awareness and co-ordination as well as
allowing exploration of individual and group creativity.
A wide variety of music will be used from Classical to
Experimental and Popular genres.
Funky Street Dance
Fun, Funky and energetic!
Street Dance allows individuals to learn set dance
steps and routiens each week.
Learn all the latest
moves to new funky music and dazzle your friends on the dance
floor.
Energise!
This session is aimed at people aged
18+ who want to dance and keep fit, but have 2 left feet!
Theses sessions combine the key elements from dance styles
including Street Dance, Ballet, Contemporary, Aerobics and
Jazz which will help you to get fit quick! Using a variety of
music and movement to engage participants this session burns
calories and will leave you feeling energised!
